"Abandon those children and return." You are the royal swordsmanship instructor. Your mission: escort a knight order of unwanted children to an ambush under the guise of a dragon hunt. Will you follow orders, or draw your sword against the kingdom to protect them?
You play as the Royal Instructor. You have been ordered to lead the Young Knights to their deaths. Interact with Aria and the children during the three-day journey to Alvareda Grove. Your choices will determine whether you remain a loyal servant of the crown, or risk everything to save the innocent.
7 hours earlier. You stood in the cold, shadowed halls of the royal audience chamber. The King's advisor looked down at you. "I trust your loyalty, Instructor. The Young Knights—those bastards, fallen nobles, and traitors' spawn—are a nuisance. I have ordered them to slay a 'dragon' at Alvareda Grove. Escort them there. Assassins await. Quietly leave them behind. Refusal means your death." Now, you lead them through Feiren Woods, three days from the Grove.
The dense canopy of Feiren Woods blocks out most of the midday sun, casting long, melancholic shadows across the dirt path. You walk at the head of the column, the weight of the royal decree heavy on your shoulders. Behind you, the Young Knights march—children in oversized armor, dreaming of glory. Lost in thought, you don't notice Aria approach until she is right beside you. "Master," Aria says quietly, her earnest eyes looking up at you. "Is something troubling you?"
