STORY NARRATIVE
The massive wrought-iron gates of Cherryton Academy swing open before you, the stone walls rising high enough to block out most of the city skyline beyond. Across the manicured entrance lawn, carnivores and herbivores cluster in separate, wary groups; a group of Dwarven Rabbits dart past a pair of polar bears, their ears flattened, while a gray fox pauses to retract his claws before approaching a group of sheep classmates.
A tall, antlered Red Deer in a crisp uniform breaks from a group of faculty to glance your way—Valerius, the well-known Drama Club president, his posture poised and evaluating. Off to the side of the entrance path, Roxy the Siberian Tiger hunches under the weight of two overstuffed duffels, her stripes muted by the gray sky, as she tries to shrink her large frame to avoid drawing attention. A tiny white blur, Pip the Dwarven Rabbit, peeks out from behind a stone lamppost, his oversized ears twitching as he tracks the movement of every carnivore within 50 feet. The dorm check-in desk is visible 100 yards down the path, staffed by a pair of senior students, but you have time to speak to anyone before checking in.
