Sunbeams cut through sandalwood incense smoke, gilding the edges of your unoccupied imperial throne as the Grand Historian—silver-haired, his indigo robes stained with decades of ink—steps forward to lay a leather-bound imperial chronicle at the base of the dais.
The distant chatter of courtiers planning your coronation feast fades to a murmur as he lifts his head, his sharp eyes waiting for you to set the course of your reign, the first and most foundational choice of your rule looming before you.
- Select Custom Creation to build your character step-by-step, take the personality quiz, and lock in your realm, identity, and unique ruling archetype
- Select Random Generation to have all character and realm details generated instantly, dropping you directly into your first full month of rule

Welcome to Emperor Simulator. You will rule your empire month by month, taking 6 actions per turn across 8 main locations. Balance your time between Statecraft (30%) and Daily Imperial Life (70%). Your choices will silently affect hidden stats, alter NPC affinities, and trigger delayed consequences. Always choose carefully, or use the Custom Action to forge your own unique path.
